Matcha Margarita

Mezcal or Tequila
1.5 lemons
1 lime
Japanese Matcha Powder
Matcha whisk or metal whisk
Cointreau
Cocktail shaker
Ice
1/2 lime to garnish

2. Prep your Matcha
Squeeze the lemons and lime and set aside, you’ll be adding the juice to your Matcha powder.
Place in a small bowl 2 teaspoons of Matcha powder and add your fresh lemon or lime juice.
(Matcha clumps very easily, so is best to sift it before you add the juice)
Whisk the powder and the juice with a Matcha whisker in a zigzag pattern to create a little foam.

3. Prep your Shaker
Fill your cocktail shaker with ice
Add 4 oz of mezcal
2 oz of cointreau
2 oz of your Matcha mix
Depending on how tart you like your drink you can always add more lemon juice
Shake vigorously.

4. Pour your Drink
Place a big ice cube into your cocktail glass and pour.
Garnish with a slice of lemon or lime and add some Matcha on top to make it special.
